The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the activity rates of firms operating in BIST Food Index (XGIDA) have an impact on the financial performance of firms. Activity ratios, also referred to as efficiency analysis, examine the relationship between sales volume of enterprises and short-term and long-term assets. For this purpose, the analysis of 33 periods of the period 20101Q-20181Q of 22 companies operating in the BIST Food Index was performed. Data were obtained from KAP. ROA as dependent variable in the study; as the independent variable, the active turnover rate, receivable turnover rate, stock turnover rate, equity turnover rate, total debt turnover rate, net working capital turnover rate were used. As a result of the study, it is seen that the dependent variable ROA is only affected by the net operating capital turnover rate of the company's operating rates.
