Abstract
Stratejik yönetim yazınında, işletmelerin stratejik rekabet ve sürdürebilir rekabetçi üstünlük sağlama katalizörü olarak “iş teorisi” kavramından çok fazla söz edilmediği ve/hatta bazı kavramlarla iç içe kullanıldığı görülür. Oysa işletmelerin sürdürülebilir rekabet ve büyüme konusunda işe yarar uygulamalar, davranışlar ve hareketler bir iş teorisi çerçevesinde sağlanır. Makale 1994 yılında Peter Drucker ile çerçevesi oluşturulan iş teorisinin çözümlemesini yapmak ve Türkçe yazında konuyu netleştirmek için hazırlanmış ve iki bölümlü düzenlenmiş ve sunulmuştur: (a) İş teorisinin kavramsal çerçevesinin analizi, (b) ve etkinlik koşullarının ne olması gerektiğinin analizi. Böylece stratejik yönetim yazınında iş teorisinin yeniden güncellenmesi ve konu hakkında daha fazla Türkçe araştırma yapma zemini oluşturulması hedeflenmiştir.

Abstract
In the strategic management literature, it is seen that the “business theory” as a catalyst for business to provide strategic competition and sustainable competitive superiority is not so much promised and/even used interiors with some concepts. However, useful practices, behaviors and movements of business in sustainable competition and growth are provided within the framework of a business theory. The article was prepared in 1994 with Peter Drucker in order to analyze the business theory the business theory whose framework was formed and to clarify the subject in the Turkish literature and was arranged and presented in two parts: (a) Analysis of the conceptual framework of the business theory, (b) and analysis of what the conditions of the efficiency should be. Thus, it is aimed to update the theory of business in the strategic management literature and to create a field for further research on the subject in Turkish.
