İŞGÖRENLERİN MOTİVASYONU İLE GİZLİ MALİYET İLİŞKİSİNİN TESPİTİ: BİR UYGULAMA

Abstract

İşletmelerin faaliyetlerinde başarılı olması için; maliyetlerin düşük seviyede olması, çalışanların motivasyonu ve işe bağlılıklarının yüksek olması gerekmektedir. Çalışanların motivasyon eksikliğinden kaynaklanan işteki aksamalar ve olumsuzlukların ise işletmeye bir maliyeti vardır. Ancak oluşan bu maliyet tipi gözle görülebilecek ve hesaplara dökülebilecek yapıda olmadığından önemsenmemektedir. Bu çalışmada, Manavgat Side Bölgesi’nde bulunan bir otel zincirindeki 400 çalışan ana kütle olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışanlardan 257 kişiye anket uygulanmıştır. Çalışanların; motivasyon durumları, işteki aksaklıklar ve bu aksaklıkların maliyete etkisi hakkındaki görüşleri ile gizli maliyet ilişkisini belirleyebilmek için istatiksel analiz tekniklerden; tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Tek Örneklem T Testi (One sample t test), Mann Whitney U Testi ve Kruskall Wallis Testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre: işletmede çalışanların ve yöneticilerin motivasyonunun işteki verimlilik, performans gibi birçok faktörü etkileyerek iş kaybı, iş hataları, mesleki kaza, yaralanmalar ve aklen işte olmama gibi birçok durumu ortaya çıkardığı görülmüştür.

Abstract

For businesses to be successful in their activities; The costs should be low, the motivation of the employees and their commitment to the work should be high. Disruptions and negativities in the work caused by the lack of motivation of the employees have a cost to the business. However, this type of cost is ignored since it is not in a structure that can be seen and accounted for. In this study, 400 employees in a hotel chain in Manavgat Side Region were determined as the main mass. A questionnaire was applied to 257 of these employees. Employees; Statistical analysis techniques are used to determine the relationship between motivational situations, work disruptions and their views on the impact of these disruptions on costs, and hidden costs; descriptive statistics, One sample t test, Mann Whitney U Test and Kruskall Wallis Test were applied. According to the results obtained from the research: It has been seen that the motivation of the employees and managers in the enterprise affects many factors such as productivity and performance at work, resulting in many situations such as job loss, work errors, occupational accident, injuries and mental absence from work.
