PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT OF INSURANCE COMPANIES WHICH PROCESSED IN BIST WITH MULTIMOORA METHOD BIST’DE İŞLEM GÖREN SİGORTA ŞİRKETLERİNİN MULTIMOORA YÖNTEMİYLE PERFORMANS ÖLÇÜMÜ
The aim of this study is to appraise performance of companies which operates in insurance sector in BIST in a financial way. In this study, 6 insurance company (Ak Sigorta, Anadolu Sigorta, Aviva Sigorta, Güneş Sigorta, Halk Sigorta ve Ray Sigorta) which operates in insurance sector in BIST appraised in a financial way as part of 10 financial ratio (current ratio, cahs ratio, asset turnover rate, debt ratio, gross margin of profit, net magrin of profit, equity stability, investment stability, price/income ratio, and market value/book value ratio). For this purpose, performance valuation is made by using MOORA (The Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis) which is one of the multi criteria decision making techniques with the help of some financial ratios. MOORA ratio method, referance point approach and full miltiplication for methods used to reach the conclusions of MULTIMOORA method.
