IJBEMP adopts the principle of not restricting access to and production of scientific knowledge through any financial barrier. Accordingly, the journal does not charge an Article Processing Charge (APC).
No fees are requested from authors or their institutions at any stage, including manuscript submission, initial screening, peer review, revision, publication, DOI assignment, and archiving. Peer review is conducted on a voluntary basis, and reviewers receive no payment.
Manuscripts submitted to the journal are evaluated solely on the basis of scientific quality, originality, and methodological adequacy, regardless of any fee status. Authors’ financial situation, institutional affiliation, or geographic location is by no means a determining factor in the evaluation process.
