Banks, which are the most important intermediary institution of the economy, have an important position in terms of the stability and healthy functioning of the financial system. It is important to examine the financial performance of the banking sector for creditors, investors and other interest groups. TOPSIS (Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To An Ideal Solution) method, which is a multi-criteria decision making method, is used in studies related to performance measurement. In this study, the financial performance of 6 commercial banks traded in BIST 30 index was investigated. review of the literature about the study identified 20 financial ratios, were obtained from Turkey Banks Union. According to the findings of the study, Garanti Bank was determined as an ideal option.
